I believe in Functional Training–in other words, preparing my clients for everyday activities and a healthy lifestyle. Strength training, core conditioning and building lung capacity are the building blocks that I offer my clients. I know that each of you has different goals, so I design workouts tailored for individual needs. I want to help you achieve your fitness goals and at the same time making it interesting enough so that you look forward to your workouts instead of dreading them.
I graduated from Toll Gate High School in Warwick, where I played football, baseball, basketball and competed in track & field events. I even played high school golf!
I went on to study Physical Education at Grambling State University. I have coached football and have taught boxing.
I earned my Personal Training Certification from the National Council of Strength and Fitness (NCSF). I have taken BFit University courses in Cardio Kickboxing and Partner-Assisted Stretch. I am also a Battling Ropes Certified Coach.
Before launching my own training business I was a manager at Bally’s, Dexter and Blast Fitness health clubs.
I am passionate about staying active and taking challenges head on. I have almost twenty years of weight training experience, and am constantly looking to improve my craft by staying on top of the latest studies and advances in the field.
I have also been qualified by the American Red Cross in CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
My wife Allison is a school teacher; we have two sons and a daughter.
